Still awed by the fact he is actually “an actor”, you’ll love the enthusiasm of JOHN HICKMAN as he tells the story of how a charity event proved the catalyst for this new career path that started with a walk-on in “True Blood” and led to his becoming part of the “wolf pack.” In little more than a year that fortuitous event has translated into steady work in television and film, now currently in films opposite Pierce Brosnan, James Franco and Dolph Lundgren with more about to release. Fellow actors will want to listen in to hear John’s journey while casting agents and directors may find John is just what they’re looking for in an actor.

At the midway point, BTL soars to new heights with director BRIAN TERWILLIGER talking about his new National Geographic documentary, LIVING IN THE AGE OF AIRPLANES. Filmmakers will appreciate hearing Brian talk about the six-year journey to bring this story to life, from idea to developing a narrative through-line to the logistics and challenges of shooting 95 locations (including the South Pole itself), 18 countries and 7 continents with one camera – the 7th Alexa off the assembly line – and then editing 260 hours of footage; plus, the importance of James Horner’s score and Harrison Ford’s narration.
